My Story

I am Eddie G. Hall, Jr.  and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.  "The Urban Therapist" represents my longtime passion to promote equity and equality in mental health services for families and communities of color by providing quality, culturally sensitive counseling. 

Mr. Eddie G. Hall, Jr. holds a Master of Science Degree from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor of Science from University of Phoenix

Mr. Hall has been involved in various forms of counseling and community outreach for over 30 years in Ohio and Florida including: HIV/AIDS Intervention Specialist (ECCO Family Health Center); Community Outreach Coordinator (Community Crusade Against Drugs); Area Director (Family Health & Education Service); Program Director (Chapter 2); Case Manager (Supportive Services for Veterans and Families); Mental Health/Substance Abuse Counselor (The City Rescue Mission, Mental Health Resource Center, Wekiva Springs Behavioral Health Center); and former License Pastor (Southeastern Conference).

Mr. Hall currently works full-time as the Mental Health and Substance Abuse group therapist at Wekiva Springs Center in Jacksonville, Florida.
